Our Commitment To Privacy:
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this Statement explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this Statement easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and on every page where our information collection practices are applicable.
This Statement covers all areas of iaaoc.org (hereinafter referred to in this Statement as the "Site" ) on which our privacy statement hyperlink appears. The information covered by this Statement is Information an individual provides to iaaoc.org outside of the individual's trade, business or profession ("Information").
The Information We Collect:
There are two forms of Information that iaaoc.org collects online: Site Visitorship Information and Personally Identifiable Information voluntarily provided to iaaoc.org by Site visitors.
Site Visitorship Information
iaaoc.org routinely gathers Information on Site activity, such as data on how many people visit the Site, the pages they visit, where they come from, how long they stay, etc. Site Visitorship Information is:
• collected on an aggregate, anonymous basis, which means no Personally Identifiable Information is associated with this data;
• used to better design our Site and to share with advertisers to create targeted marketing.
Personally Identifiable Information
Personally Identifiable Information is also collected on certain pages of the Site. If you decide to contact iaaoc.org online to ask a question, learn more about a product or register a recently purchased product, download certain software or service applications, place an order for products or inquire about products you may already own, you will find that those contact forms ask for certain types of Personally Identifiable Information to assist us in complying with these requests.
• iaaoc.org may ask you to provide Personally Identifiable Information, some optional, some required, on specific pages of the Site. The information requested may include your name, address, e-mail address, shipping information, phone number, product model and serial numbers and your dates of purchase, credit card and/or debit card information and your comments. Personally Identifiable Information may be forwarded to a iaaoc.org business unit or the appropriate iaaoc.org subsidiary or affiliate company that is equipped to handle your order, inquiry or feedback.
• Personally Identifiable Information is collected by means of warranty cards, trade show information, e-mail and voluntary online surveys. This Information is also collected to personalize and customize your experience on the Site. For example, if you indicate you would like to receive an e-mail reminder about upcoming events.
• Personally Identifiable Information is gathered as part of any entry for a sweepstakes or other promotion. If you choose to enter a sweepstakes or other promotion we conduct, you will be required to submit certain personal information, such as your name, e-mail address, street address and phone number, and we will also ask for certain additional information, which is optional and is not required to enter the promotion. We will use the required personal information you submit to us for promotion administration purposes, such as notification of winners.
Personally Identifiable Information is collected only when Site visitors voluntarily provide it. It is not necessary to provide any Personally Identifiable Information in order to simply browse the Site.
